About Us

The Outdoor club CIC

The idea for The Outdoor Club CIC was founded in January 2021 during the COVID pandemic. We are a community based not-for-profit organisation that is dedicated to bringing joy through the outdoors. We focus on working with all members of our local community, to provide a safe, enjoyable and inclusive space in the great outdoors.

We do this through creating:

  • Outdoor play groups for babies, toddlers and their families

  • Events to help get people outside and learn about their local green spaces

  • Adult groups that focus on nature crafts and mindfulness

  • Opportunities to work with out local school and youth groups to get young people outside learning about their local spaces and the natural environment around them

All profits from our groups and events go directly back into the running costs of our community interest company. This is what helps us to keep our ticket prices affordable for as many people as possible. We made a promise when we started this CIC that our directors would not receive any dividends or profit share.
